FIVE YEARS

Before I even get started I will ask the mods to put this wherever it belongs, I will take no offense. 
This weekend I mark two anniversaries in StarGateWars.
I registered on this forum and began to play this game May 22, 2005. The next day with an army of 10 or so I joined the Omega Allegiance.
I guess in the grand scheme it is no big deal. (I know some will love to point out the reasons
)
Many have played longer, and many more have had more influence than I, so I post this not to brag or bluster, but to commemorate a lot of good times and some bad. I have made some bold moves, some great moves, and some gigantic errors. I have made friends and I sure as hell have made some enemies…sometimes due to my own hubris.
I have seen an alliance I loved grow from a powerful force of 30 or so guys and gals to an Empire of five alliances with over 100 members.
I was a lowly trainee as I watched Omega grow. I watched the creation of Alpha as a member of the HC and then the creation of Pi as 3IC. I founded Delta as 2IC of OE. I watched Mayhem join. I saw our friends DDE expand from one alliance to become the force they are today.
I was there when OE, DDE, and DD et al created the Grand Alliance. I was there when the GA transformed into the current FUALL.
My time in OE ended and Genesis was born 2 weeks later. Genesis Is now near a year on and Mayhem has left OE …
FIVE YEARS.
Point is I have seen a lot…. I have been part of some of it, created some of it, and yea, messed up some of it along the way. So many old friends gone, and new ones rising to fill the hole they left in the game....
The reason I wanted mark this date was to say THANKS.
I thank Jason for giving us the game, the mods for all their hard work, and the people in the game most of all.
Most in the game I do not know, but perhaps we may meet down the road. To those I do know I have had a blast and you have all played a part in my enjoyment of it all.
To those that have been foes, I respect many of you , I like most of you and I thank you all for good and glorious battles.
To those of you that are my friends in the game I am sure I owe you something, many of you have supported me helped me or guided me. Rhett is still the one I owe the most too, but sooo many more I cannot list; nor will I try. I will reserve that chore to my farewell post – whenever that day comes.
Through out it all I have tried to play it well , and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
