Galactic Log vs Internal Log

Galatic Battle Logs indicate that the attacker has lost units:

03:49 V 317769283090 Jade 43446719341 289,496,485 Naquadah lost 103 0

Internal logs indicate that the defender has lost units:

The forces of V rush in full force, and inflict #,###,###,### damage on Jade's forces!
It was confirmed that 103 of Jade's forces fell at the hands of V 's assult.

The forces of Jade fought back with all they could, and managed to inflict ###,###,### damage on V 's forces!
They managed to eradicate 0 of V 's troops.

Just a minor bug, nothing too major just a mix up in data transferring somewhere.

maybe they lost covert or anti-covert.
I checked that last era and sometimes it was covert and/or anti-covert, or ams.

i dont think you got what he was saying
the galactic logs show that the attacker lost 103 units and the defender lost 0
the internal logs show the attacker lost 0 and the defender lost 103

BUMP - Confirmed

18:02 Ace1102 675957047794 sg1addict 473872594245 2,050,833,051 Naquadah lost 1,020 0

Last 2 numbers are reported in Global attack logs as being
ATTACKER LOSSES/DEFENDER LOSSES, in this case 1020/0
But knowing I don't even have that many troops to lose made me investigate further, the actual attack came out the other way around...

18:02 sg1addict 2,050,833,051 Naquadah stolen 12 1,020 0

Personal attack logs report the last 2 numbers as DEFENDER LOSSES/ATTACKER LOSSES
This is accurate, as it was the defender that lost troops and not myself, Personal attack logs are opposite to the Global attack logs.
Most likely a simple fix, its reporting the number in the wrong place thats all.

I've only noticed this bug recently... Normally the logs looked pretty accurate to me (Except not including AC losses obviously)

Does this really matter?

If you knew someone had a defense would you hit them with AC trained?

I think Admin left it this way so it wouldn't give exact details.

Therefore, not a bug.

I disagree, I think admin may not have noticed that the paragraphs for units lost in galactic attack logs are reversed...
And yes, If i hate people and I think I can wipe out a large chunk of their spies while I farm them, then I do it ;)

Just noticed something else about the galactic log 'bug'

as we know it doesn't always show the correct info, it was almost generally accepted that it showed the wrong info in the wrong spot...
However if you looks at this:

Galactic Logs wrote:10:00 Ace1102 675957047794 Konfusion 469202147321 14,344,291,060 Naquadah lost 336 0

If you can read that, it says I lost 336 units and defender lost 0.

Personal Attack Logs wrote:10:00 Konfusion 14,344,291,060 Naquadah stolen 12 297 39

The end 2 sets of numbers meaning defender lost 297 and I lost 39, which (properly) added together will give 336, the amount the galactic logs decided to tell everyone I have lost :P

Sometimes the global log is right, sometimes it is wrong, whilst ACing accounts with spies the logs seem to report correctly, but other times whilst farming, you might notice huge losses on your part and think WTH, so when you take a closer look at the logs it turns out those losses were all your enemies :P

Weird..
