I was a bit skeptic at the beginning but later.....well, I got stuck with it
EDIT: state how long have you been in the game since it has been introduced to you and also if you left the game in between

I was a big SG1 fan, thought it was the best show on TV at the time, and happened to start a new job where 2 guys in my office played SGW.
Of course it was a very different game back then, no MSs, no planets, no raiding, army size was hard to grow so UU had far more value meaning to use resources massing someone required a good reason, and wars were very costly.

This, back in '05 there was a thread on the gateworld forum about stargatewars and a debate formed over whether TAA or The Order was the better alliance. Seeing such strong opinions and attachment to this game made me really want to try it for myself. 5 years later, I'm still here

I had just moved to NZ and my mate shaun/semper from the UK linked me and my brother up and told us to play (along with ogame). Almost 5 years ago now. Was never forum active, quit the game at one point. Its only in the past two years I have made a decent effort at the game.

I was watch stargate atlantas i think and seen a comercial for a new game coming called stargate worlds, of course it wasnt ready (still isnt) I went to my comp, and searched stargate, found several games, signed up for one just like this, even had the same name in it, looked cool but you couldnt attack no one cause it wasnt finished, so i searched for more, and found this one, been here every since, and have never left yet.
You have started playing at 21:39:44 on 10. March 2008. You are playing for 807 days, 21 hours, 58 minutes, 8 seconds.
Hey anyone else sign up for a game almost identical to this one in 2008, and if so do you remember what happened to it
