as many of you know, a 'new' player, Cult of Nemi recently joined the game and has been having a bit of fun with the Omegan empire and mayhem
now, being a kind and helpful player, and wanting people to actually continue playing, gave Nemi 500 turns, in an attempt to keep him playing and active

now apparently this is a bad thing to do
Guild (id=1947691) and Mikgamer (id=28677)
decided that its a great idea to kill my 5000 defenders, 3mil spies and 800k AC because of my helping the new guy

damn that was a lot of units

really, their fight isnt with me, its with Nemi. if he hasnt got anything to destroy, not my fault
dont attack me for trying to keep new players in-game
there are many of us trying to do this, and what you are doing is why people leave

@juliette, im not going to stop supporting new players because one of the "bigger" players in the game dislikes this
this is the problem with the game

We do support newer players, but get your facts right before posting..

Well, maybe you should be more careful who you associate with and help real newbies who deserve it

so people who have played before dont need some encouragement to continue playing?

it doesnt matter who they are, if they are willing to play, i will most likely help them

As a matter of fact, Yes Juliette, I want a discussion.

Nothing against you or your work as moderating ofcourse, But I believe this is neccesary to get some facts right about the "bigger" guys don't like/want newer members.

also please note that in this case "bigger" was a euphemism, not a direct descriptive

Then do not complain about the consequences it might trigger

Why support someone trying to muddy the name of past players?

You are not helping a new player to the game.

dont ask rhetorical questions, it demeans yourself
of course i dont know these players
i know that Nemi is doing what we shouldve done a long time ago
show the "bigger" players arent gods and cant go walking over anyone they want to whenever it pleases them
yes, this is a war game
but that doesnt mean that there cant be some fair-play

as you obviously know that he isnt one of those players, why is it a problem?

Many called those who that guy is impersonating friends and they are certainly not amused by his action.

It is silly to expect that they will give you a clap on the back when you are apparently supporting that guy.
