how many are there?

one would hazard a guess u can get to 100%. no idea of cost seeing as i never use mercs

I never bothered to buy the first (10%) upgrade...
It's now 70mil...

I'm sure a mod could enlighten us.

well i got it up to level 3 and then got my UP up higher

3 or 4 upgrades for higher ones, 7 or 8 for lower beings

it depends on which race you are, we asgards have got only 3 upgrades for merc control

I've upgraded 3 times, I'm asgard and I still have the option to upgrade.

Are you talking about "Mercenary Command"?.

If so, I think it might be better to do when your UP is low. I didn't realize it at the time(many, many moons ago when I was but a wee noob), but it increases with your UP(becomes more expensive as UP increases...as least before the recents game changes...haven't checked since). I'm at less that 50% command and have ~400M naq price tag with it, for this lower level.

i'm repli, i have 4 upgrades. I got 1-3, but still haven't gotten 4. Not worth it IMO. I rarely use mercs, and the lvl 3 upgrade is plenty for when I do.

if you wanted the exact lvl's. i could tell you. but they're differant for each race... some races have a better merc advantage over others.

only one goes up to lvl 7-8.

i got them all and am gould cost near to nothing i had alow up to start with
