Two of them Really, and i'm not going to the mod's first because i'm well a bit upset and think It should be here before any,

First off I just got banned for two weeks for calling someone an idiot, yet look at Byrnes sig rofl, Jack calls him one, and i'm not sure he ever got a warning, Secondly

When I was gone, the ombudsman corner was spammed, and were they ever warrned the mod included that was spamming it, because i know for a fact i've been warned for spamming the ombudsman corner, and well that would be biast if they were not infact being warned, also someone openly had a second account and passed there blocking and was allowed to stay, how is that allowed either?

Please Ombudsman let me know, as I think that my warning was utter ridiculous and I also think that Julliette desereves a warning, along with other members who spammed the ombudsman...

Teal'C was not banned just for calling someone an idiot, but for reaching 3 warnings (4, in fact).



(Also; I am always available for PM. Haven't seen anything from Teal'C. How important is it to him?)

Umm I PM'd you ingame when you banned me, and I don't see you denying the fact you spammed the Ombudsman so be a proper mod and warn yourself hahahaha no but seriously you do deserve a warning, and one of my warnings was calling someone and idiot true? so that warning I am fighting

Wat would you call all that, and how do you expect me to PM you on here if you banned me for a reason that isn't right... have you warned all people you have seen that were calling others idiots? because if not, then I want mine removed and an appology... Because it wasn't fair...

the activity that led to that topic was actually requested by one of the ombudsmen... he was bored...

Well that is sad, either way, this is not a place to spam, and if once allowed why should it not always be allowed?

and fine if thats a case unfortunatly nothing can be done... even if rules were broken, you see what I mean

I am so **Filtered** sick of people because they are mods, ombudsman or Admins being able to do what they want

because you are Mod does not give you the right to break a rule

Same for ombudsman or Admin because as a normal user, I would have been warned for doing so, and possible banned permanantly for making a second account on forums

and 3rdly

That doesn't touch my point about the warning

I'm glad an Admin just addmitted that a mod and an Ombudsman openly abused there power and the Admin allowed it

I warn for each and every case of profanity I see. When the user has not committed this offence before, they are given a verbal warning. When they have, they are warned directly. Teal'C has committed the offence before, was even warned for a similar offence before *Ombudsman: (viewtopic.php?f=62&p=1975263#p1975263), and was not eligible for a verbal warning per established protocol on the points of 'moderator discretion' and 'issuing warnings'.


As for that thread.. if Mordack saw fit to warn me and all who posted in that thread, he would have. Teal'C is 'requesting' a warning for me?
It is my belief this is why we have the 'report' function?

The fact is you abused your power as a mod, and the truth is where the hell is everyone elses warnings for calling people idiots, i've seen many and never NEVER a warning for it, Idiot is not a profanity

and Obviously Mordack wouldn't warn you if it was his damn Idea, the point is I am so sick of mods other then a few using there powers that they are not supposed too...

and there you go Uni, i have reported all the posts, and I doubt very much something will be done...

Not taking sides or anything, but how can you say with 100% surity that no-one has been warned for this in the past? Warnings aren't made public unless the person being warned makes it so.

well great point Uni, why don't you tell the man you haven't been warned, or Mordack for allowing it, or Jason for having 2 forum accounts, can you please answer the man...

forum multies are not, have never been, and will never be forbidden...

When to consider something spam, is up to the ombudsmen... mordack/Jack do not have the same view of what is that man called jim and zeekomkommer had...

I do not see merit in making this personal, RoKeT. It would be appreciated if you didn't either.

Let me just say that the issues presented by Teal'C have been subject of discussion before, and the value of reiterating that discussion is contestable. In the case of the warning for profanity that led to his 2-weeks ban, I have given my reasons and perspective, and see no point in further conversation on the subject.

the bans there were not two-week bans... they were spammer-bans... the longest one was a few hours... whether to ban a multi for bypassing a ban varies from case to case... it is usually done, but not always... for bans like the ones issued from the trigger thread, it was not done, since they were unofficial bans...
