Abandoned Planets?

do they dissappear completly from the game over time or become extremly diffcult to get back?
i ask this because i abandond some duals like over 6 months ago and no one has found them?
either that or my beacons dont want to tell me where they are

Theoretically they will be found. You will just have to bully some little guy like me to get them back. hmmm- perhaps I will permanently Merlin it if I find it so you never get it back hahaha

I had some punk who had my dual iv set war to him and waiting to see it as i used my last becon and copied the info into my personal section.
I had one who wanted resources for it as he put some naq into it im like get lost in taking it back. noobs these days.

recently iv e disbanded 3 duals (stolen) tehres a high possibility the owner finds them, if u havent stole yr 2 duals of themonth u can send MS out also the owner incase stolen does have high chances to find them.
its 50/50 between u two and admin, guess there are too many duals around

i had over 100 beacons on them. and over the past few months i kep on using them every 2-3 weeks or so but nothing. no one found them and neither did my ms anytime i sent it out

Clearly you fail to grasp the point of this thread. Even if someone found R8's duals and merlined them he would still "find" them by using his beacons.
What R8 is saying is that his beacons show that no-one has found them yet and is wondering whether abandoned planets can still be found these days.
So yes if someone does find it and merlins it he would still find it.

Of course you can also sit on my 1.6million unascended account as well for giving you the bad news but as I walk out the door you better hope it is not a revolving one or you will never make your way out

R8, no idea why no one has found them.....wouldn't be surprised if admin had implemented a way for them to drop out of the game after a certain time though.....

oh god there is nothing more amusing then a noob/multi general waste of this games forum and ingame space who tries to say something big and strong grrr

now as i said right at the beginning shuit up and well you can make up the rest as you want
for those actually understadning the topic yea i do think there is a system implemented to make duals drop off completly. when i use beacons on all other planets they turn up on somones account. these 2 duals in particular all i get is the same thing
"You determine the following from the use of your beacon:
The planet is currently owned by The great abyss of space.."

Is it possible the accounts that have the duals are on vacation? I mean you can't find a vacation in the ranks unless there's an alliance leader link to them or you create one in your log, so I wonder if a vacationed account effects beacons.

An interesting possibility.....could it also be that someone found the dual and then deleted their account? What happens to the dual then?
A couple of possibilities maybe.....
