No religious debates?

Note: This is not a debate about religion.

Per June 1st 2010, the debate section will no longer host debates on subjects under the category religion.
For a more specific outline, contact Juliette.

Why is this so? Surely this is a major part about debating and the thing that is debated most across the entire world. The significance of religion is mind blowing. Why can we not have debates about religion any more?

Also, on a side note: can we mention religion in arguments or do we have to avoid the topic all together? See the recent random debate thread.

I don't know whether you have looked at the place recently, but I have 'tolerated' religious debate in spite of my own words, to see whether you would be able to conduct a sensible discussion.
So far, I have nothing to complain about, so neither do you. Would you rather I enforce that rule? :-s I thought not. So, let's not make threads about this, or you will force my mind from tolerance to aversion.

Soo.. thank you. Discuss religion while I close my eyes and sleep the sweet somnia of Morpheus and his henchmen.

If all goes well, I'll revise the phrase. Keep up the discussions as you have been able to so far. Threads like this work against you.
