my name is mat and i would like to recommend you on really awesome game that i saw.
www.matg777-is-a-n00b.comits much better game than this game, has more features, the usual including planets,mother ship,market broker... and much more like: auction house,160 different technologies (40 per race), Military commanders (heroes that gain xp in battles) , integrated forum (no need to login again), advance ingame chat like facebook! and ajax alert system that notify you when you are under attack, and much much more...
and it also look way better than this game.
if you join please join with my link you wont have to set me as commander but it will help me get fss, if you want to play you can also recruit only 6 users using your link to get fss.

Advertising a non-Kingdom Games game.
I responded by setting war lmao, he clearly created an account on SGW purely to advertise another game and i doubt he has any intention of playing SGW.

Cant advertise on the forum, but the game rules say nothing about advertising ingame.

Jason and Mark have in the past changed usernames, planet names and red titles when advertising non-Kingdom Games games. Maybe it's time for Jason to state it in the rules.

i checked and this account is currently the last created ID in the game. so ya, seems weird to me and i dont like it

Ok well for this to actually be scam where he would be able to steal peoples login details then he would have to be an admin of the game himself.

if his posting his recrute link i presume hes a regular player i belive....
but we could ask jason for a solution, as i belive we cant really do anything besides ban and be carefull....

Well the thing is if he's a regular player and not an admin, but the game is a front to steal Gatewars login details then the admin of the game (whoever it is) would still be the person doing the stealing, therefore no point contacting admins.
If all this person is doing is promoting a new legitimate game, then there is no point contacting the admin of that game. Jason should just ban the account in question.
However, I fear that Earendil's statement is a "presumption" that the game is being used to steal Gatewars logins. Unless someone has fallen victim to having their logins stolen then I fail to see where the evidence would come from to suggest it is a front to steal passwords.
