What is it with B-beer, and A-advertising? The main sponsors of major events are generally outclassed when it comes to style in their advertisements. These initiatives, ludicrous and sexist as they are, are entertaining, and what is more.. they attract attention. Massive attention. More attention, in fact, than the advertisements of the main sponsors of these events.

In any case.. the above 2 'fashion elements' are curious. The bud-kini is basically a naked girl with "Budweiser" written on her.. the Bavaria dress is more subtle, more elegant. I wonder.. which of the two do you think is the better advertisement? :) Take into account that the 'dress' is an issue of major controversy around the FIFA World Cup 2010, having tied the name Bavaria to the dress in a lot of newspapers.

The Bavaria dress. More complex, more style. Sexy is hidden, not naked.

Not to mention that the women wearing the dress on the stadium were much prettier than the budweiser girl...

it's a pretty little dress.
maybe a slightly large cleavege, and a little short at the legs, but nothing we havent seen before. i really can't see the controversy.
can't say any would make the brand it advertises my regular drink, but the latter might encourage me to try it. the former? well, it would take a lot more than that to make me forget it's an american brand (and honestly, even if it wasn't, this probably has a negative comerrcial value. with me, at least)

Maybe you could model both for us Jo; so we could get a more objective comparison...

Major sporting events have always been about money.... sponsors interests will always prevail over common sense.
