Can Offensive units only use Attack Weapons like P90s and such and Defensive units only use Defense Weapons? Or can they both use both?

attack troops only use attack weapons, and defence troops only use defence weapons.

attack units only fight when YOU attack, and defence units only fight when you are ATTACKED.

This question and others of a similar nature have popped up a few times quite recently, no doubt due to large influx of new players. I'll add it to the start of my guide as well as a few other basics. Now I only have to get them to read it...

hahaha i thought the same thing when i first joined, i bought p90s, hand guns , grenades then body armour and personal shields thinking i had fully fitted out a soldier , its a real noob thing lol. i even posted this question

We all had to start somewhere my friend. When my bank deposit limit didn't grow way back when I was perplexed. Then I realised that it was dependent on your UU count. I felt like a right idiot so you have no need to feel bad.
