I think that defence planets should cost at LEAST 1/2 of what attack planets cost for the same power.
Since attack can effect a defence which is ~3x its own, shouldn't we be able to build defence planets for at least 50% what those with attack planets can build and use?? So that when they have a 100b planet, and I have my 100b defence planet; their attack goes from 200b-> 300b, and my defence that was 600b goes to 700b; they go from not being able to damage me, to being able to damage me. So from 33.3% to 42.8%, for the SAME price.
Just seems wrong IMO

* An account must be over 30 days old to involve itself in planetary thefts. This should stop or at least slow any 'quick account create to steal a planet' issues.
- what happens if an account with less than 30 days loses a planet? He/she cannot recover it back, by this rule?
- i think that this rule shouldn't apply to accounts that haven't logged in the past week... for example a new account should be able to steal a planet from an innactive account...
The rest of the updates, look nice and fair so far.

Past week?

Make that past 3 months, and I am fine with it.... there are reasons people cannot log in for a few weeks, you know
As for the first question... doubtfull that would happen. Also, the only way they could get such a planet is through the market then, and considering the fact the market rarely gives valuable planets....

1 week, 3 months whatever, that's not the point (PS. have you heard of vacation mode - i know you did, i'm asking rethorical), but a correction should be done imo... i was just noticing that new legit players are disadvantaged by this rule.
As for your 2nd reply, i'm giving you 2 examples:
- a new player may create/buy a dual planet... he loses it, but he cannot recover it because of the rule
- a new legit player, less than 30 days old who cannot take any planet anymore because of this rule, but who can lose all his planets to older than 30 days old players
Do you find that fair?

If the function of taking a planet back within 12 hours isn't hindered by this, it's less of a problem. And if someone goes and buys a dual from the market, they'll either merlin it, or be able to re-claim it anyway

Nope... but in general, people will be able to protect it if they really want to keep it. On another note about that.... Imho, retaking should be split from normal taking... but that's something that later can be discussed

Is it just my imagination or is the contribution of planets from an attack now omitted from the attack log? Is this intentional or am i going blind in my old age?

Even the log entries before the update dont have them. Can anyone confirm this?

confirmed. planets no longer appear in attack logs, as they can each only contribute 50%, and spying is 'free'

Up to 15 free merlins a week.
Natural defences signficantly cheaper.
Only 5 Planets can be lost with 24 hours.
There should be no grounds for complaints if players forget to merlin or dont build an adequate defence.
This is definately a more balanced update to what we tested in Beta.

I think that some of my planet stats *might* have been boosted after the update,
which is fine with me,

but I'm putting it in this thread because it was only my defensive planets that appear different to me...
I believe each one went up 10 bil defensive bonus each...
I'd just like to confirm that this is not a bug,
as I was not aware that defensive planets
were to be boosted...
Also, I have no other apparent change in my planets,
And specifically, my Covert / AntiCovert Planets were definitely not affected.

Defense planets were adjusted to bring them in line with attack planets. Its not a bug and was intended.

well i think that fleet percentage to planet def percentage should be made a lot higher then it is
if i buy 100k def on a mind blowing planet it will cost me 9 trill naq which will give me 300 Bill def power
now someone comes along and only needs 15% which is all of 45 bill fleet power which is all of 50k fleet ships or less..
now if I have 10 planets like this totaling 90 trill worth of naq someone that spends all of 1.3 trill naq to buy the fleets
can come along and mass each planets def down to almost nothing with out taking a single planet and then with
the new selling price of fleets get 90% of there naq back so in the end it cost them less then 300 bill to mass out my 90 trill
worth of def power god for bid that these planets have had trills spent on them also to make them that size and there production
and there is ppl standing by to just walking and take them...
To be fair it should have the same ratio as att and def does 35% of the defenders power to there attack to do damage...
I for one with doing my last couple ascensions am relying on my UP planets more then ever to cover the cost of losses during these ascensions
if half of them were to be taken or massed away by someone that only has to spend a couple trill at most to do that kinda damage
my ascensions would be ruined and then there would be no point in playing any more as it would take weeks to recover from those losses and
the effort of replacing or rebuilding them...
