Id just like to say: I am so tough i fight alone like chuck norris.
Do i think that the "10% to natural DEFENSE and COVERT" will help? Probabily not. I get massed from time to time like averyone. And everyone has huge strike values, collosial MS's and big ATT planets.
And "Attack and Defense values have doubled". Does this just negate the effect anyway? Just a thought.

I dont see how it will negate the effect.
Covert will probably help, however having a better atk % would have been better.

The damage done/received is a function of the att/def-
ratio (someone correct me if I am wrong).
As only the ratio counts (and that is unchanged by the increase in wep strength), you will do the same absolute damage as before. (for example 100 weapon health points)
Considering that weapons are more powerful now, you will do
less relative damage than before (for example 2% damage instead of 4%).
Thus defense will be harder/costlier to mass.

Not really sure about the mechanics of it all or how it will all pan out.
Lets just say that im not optimistic. I guess we will see the hard way when the free PPT runs out

I don't think so.
Think about this, if you have 1m guys, which gives you 1T weapon power, and you have a 1T MS, then your MS adds 100% right? Well now, your 1m guys, gives you 2T power, and your 1T MS only adds 50%. So when you are being massed, their MS will have less of an effect against you.
Also, the covert is quite nice. It will make sabbing you alot more expensive, and you sabbing someone else, allow more effective

IMO, this isn't adequate compensation for not being in an alliance, but it's something. Alliances now have all these alliance gifts that can be given out, and an extra 12 hrs PPT/week vs 10% more defence and covert, i think i know my choice

And what does this have to do with Lonewolf bonus...... come on now.
Did you even read the post above mine?

how about comparing and seeing the difference and if its worth it?
this is a discussion thread right? so lets compare the options... Cant do that unless we see what the other side has to offer,,, and the updates dont list out how much extra ppt time or how its added etc,,,
So thanks Clarkey, if you have some info share it, otherwise thanks for that ignorant post
And thanks Baxter

I would find it great if a lone wolf had like an added extra to the measurements set against planet stripping. Since a lone wolf is more prone to be stripped by an entire alliance imho.
Like a lone wolf can only lose 3 planets over 24 hours instead of 5.
I have had my planets stripped before over minor arguments with one player in an alliance so again this suggestion is heavily biased but our choice to become lone wolf makes us so much more vulnerable to an organised alliance.
Some say it is to be expected but I think the difference is too much. Im becoming more and more tempted to join an alliance so to be freed from constant farming or stuff. kinda like if you can't beat em join em but i really don't want to.
My playstyle is heavily limited and I feel pushed into an alliance which is, I feel, against the common 'I play my own style' stuff that is thrown around much on forum.
I just think 10% to defense and covert is not enough compared to alliance bonuses.
I mean added PPT equals the entire alliance's players have added PPT every time or not?
The increasein bank is absolutely crazy !
what about the Solo players? They have only natural plus added via PPT/MT/donation
It's crazy. I hear ppl my size in army who have 300T bank while i have to be content with my 30T bank. they can save up naq in a normal fashion and can get covert levels impossible for me to ever have, unless i pay for other banking for me or I am obliged to 'befriend' an alliance player so he lets me use his bank as storage. That is not solo playing !
Also i feel like we need something to prevent jumping between alliance and lone wolf for acquiring both alliance bonus and lonewolf bonus. Like saying that deciding lone wolf is a choice you make that is set in stone for X amount of time.
Since becoming a lone wolf is not easy it should mean you have a "resolve" to be so.
So no alliance joining after becoming lone wolf for X amount of time?

I totaly agree with repli**cator ...lone wolfs are more vulnerable then alliance members why:
- lone wolf can loose stats very quickly when whole alliance hits
- bank capacity + of alliance members allows to store lots of NAQ for account upgrades
- alliance allows to fix weapons of all players, so lone wolf don't have fighting chance
- lone wolf can loose 10 planets in 2 days, and he can take only one daily
- alliances have 12 h extra PPT and house bonus of their choice
So alliances are stronger in every view, which is logical but lone wolf could have more bonuses.
I would suggest lone wolf bonuses to be upgraded:
- 20 % + (DEF, SPY)
- 20 % natural bank capacity increase on total size
- 2 planets loose daily (it would allow lone wolf to protect other planets)
- 2 planets conquere daily
And 1 month bonus switch if lonewolf jumping alliances,
Its not much, alliances are still stronger which is logical but allows lone wolf to protect itself.

Or we could make becoming a lone wolf a set option in main page like a checkbox similar to nox protection
where a player without alliance will only receive the lone wolf bonus when he confirms explicitly to become one. meaning he is stuck in lone wolf position for one month at least. (with a nice custom title that appears as well

)
that means alliance jumping is still on the table but then at least them jumpers will be less likely to have our bonuses since they would have to wait a month to join another.
i just posted a month for example.
In any case if we have this kind of checkbox that means we can make the bonuses more attractive for hardcore lonewolfs. Wouldn't it also then be possible to have the alliance bonus on bank to be reverted.
I'm just saying this, because quite frankly what is stopping me from joining an alliance for one week having my bank increased then bailing, keeping my now larger bank? If you become lone wolf after having been in an alliance it's a tough choice so you should have the resolve to no longer be benifited form past alliance bonuses.

Going alone is a choice you should make because that's how you'd prefer to play, not a choice you make because the bonus is better. If you get a bonus, be happy that you get one. Don't go crying for more.

*sighs* Friendly warning here. This is the zillionth time you posted such a thing, and both the message itself and its wording are getting off-topic. More constructive feedback in the future regarding this topic please, thank you
