Disciplies of Amun (swiftness) does 2 things: 1) eliminates the realm alert time delay effect on any enemy (including Aker). and 2)reduces the effective 'level' of enemy realm alert by 50%...


I want to ask, if this is hosue created for Snipers? I think it is and i have more reason why i think so:

1) Bonus of house negs all nox, so players from house can fast attack theyr targets.

2) Faster you attack, faster 250ATs turn on, so basicly in few second's (based on conection speed) player from house will loose own nox.

3) Players with defences, with stats, are affraid to loose their nox and be easy target for the enemy.

4) Everyone who will join Amun house will basicly be taged as Sniper, because they wont build big defences. (alliances which joined house after update had reason, maybe they can post alone to explain)

5) If not small "sniper" alliances than bigger empires or teams will lead this hous and it will became one of the most feared house in game.

Well, i thought everyone was angry how easy can defences be massed. Now, new house gives us oportunity to turn whole alliances to play sniper mode. Point 3) and 4) clearly explain how this house works.

Admin, rather than completly remove delay between attacks, lower it to 50%. Otherwise you will see another baths of blood!

#4 is the primary reason 3 DDE alliances and Chaos jumped in it so as to prevent statsless sniper players from moving there and attacking whilst doing absolutely nothing else to improve thier accounts or empires/alliances. This house has some potential but as it is not good for reasons stated above.

Oh this is a bad idea

House reinforcements/ Joining of houses

If the current allaince leader in charge of the house is friendly with your allaince, they may choose to give your allaince the benefits of the house, before your votes count towards their position.

P.S sabbing at 4-5% made the game interesting


Oh and if you make Nox something that you can't use if you have used 240 attack turns in the last 24 hours that might have fixed the massing problem too

Nah what i'm trying to say is, When you use 240 turns doing normal farming, you can't set Nox, or Reset nox that day.

With the war, auto war there are ways around that, mass a target then go on ppt and reset neutral, only use 239 turns..(and use 10 accounts) that type of thing.

it used to be around 300 AT using full 15's massing defenses were relatively easy, so double the turns needed to mass from 300 to 600 on normal people. 900 on nox/crit.

i asked a few people, and it seems it still takes a good 1,200 turns to mass someone not without war settings, and albeit the house opposites effects.

as for amun... but what does it matter when massing is still very costly, even after these updates. turns are 1t/k now. and weapon decay is still large. the resale is wholly useless. i dont see amun being a big problem.

im an oldskool player. i want massing to still be worth doing. this was indeed a step closer. and i like it. but the weapon decay is still overkill. specially with all the things already in place to hinder snipers.

I'll be saying 3 thing...
1. No more Massing down a 5-100T Defence
2. Not that many Sabbing actions on strike /def weapons.
3. $$$ get untouchable.

In other words, Admin won't get more $$$ because, the $$$$ spender don't need to buy a new defence weapons or UU.. :D

Dead end ... didn't think it's coming, now it's coming faster.

It changes the balance of the game away from the 30-40% resources in MS, 20-30% in attack, 30-40% in defense and 10% covert. Of course that's of the 5-10% of the total army size.

2-3 tril strike (3-5mil uu)
1 tril defense (2-mil)
500-1 tril covert. (1-2 mil)
(500-3 tril MS)
Total army size 300-400mil.

New updates/ now old

1-2 tril attack (2-3mil)
5-10 tril defense (10-20mil)
5-10 tril covert (10-20 mil)
(500-3 tril MS)
Same army size.

What people wanted the the ability to seem like their had stats without having stats compared to their army size.

One thing about the 2 new houses... They`re quite useful but the "50 Percent Increased Realm Alert Abilities at Less Cost" one... t

he feature that is supposed to be the added bounus is actually a turnoff lol. People mostly use noxcrit to lower their income to not get farmed when theyre away. The new alert levels coupled with this lesser cost makes this a pain in the bumm, ergo the house that make it even harder wont be as popular as say swiftness :razz:

On the house that lowers enemy realm alert, and removes the delay time, what is an enemy,

Someone who declares war on YOU,

or

Someone who YOU declare war on,

Because the 2nd of them to options can be exploited so badly.

I still see Houses are an Empire Update, empires can still take control of whichever House they chose and deny bonus to anyone who doesnt bow down to them.

To fix this I still think there are 2 solutions

1) Get rid of houses ( admin wont do this since he already coded them )

2) Make say 15 houses, and give the house leader the ability to choose the house bonus and house enemy off drop down lists.

Also House bonuses are to convoluted, they need to be simple options like % Bonus to basic stats like Strike, Def, Covert, AC, maybe MS, none of this weird messing around with nox/alert/AB stuff.

I agree. As it's bias to say the least.
All the stat bonuses are able to be compensated for with mercenaries or more units trained. The things like AB are not able to be so easily compensated for, since there is a cap to the number of ascensions you can do, and thus being in that house puts you at a permanent advantage over others.
IMO, either all houses should be un-conventional bonuses (AB, realm alert, MS, planets, etc) or they should all be stat bonuses (basically the original atk/def/covert/AC)

I assume it is the latter. If it was the former, it becomes irrelevant as the time delay becomes voided with a war declaration regardless :)

Or, it could be a 3rd option where anyone you hit has no nox delay. War declared on you would be redundant as they already don't have nox protection against you. While yes, this would allow any size defense to be massed very quickly with enough resources, the massing will still cost a lot with the current update.
