In my opinion, other people should vote for who they want to be a new moderator.
Also, there are a few criteria that those nominees should meet. For example they should have been here for quite some time and have a relatively large number of posts (depending on the date of joining) as well as be renown throughout the forums, but this last one should be optional. In addition, we need someone we can trust, someone who would be active at least 4 days a week, and perhaps of a certain age, but it is not up to me to choose that age limitation.

Considering my suggestions above, I would like to nominate / suggest for this job the following person:
"ƒemme ƒatale"

Moved to an appropriate place.
Closed. When such a discussion is required, the Administration will open it. At this point, procedure is laid out by the Administration and not subject to debate.

It would appear that your basic perception of the forum and your position as users differs from reality.

to give a bit of calm...

most of those criteria are taken into account by the administration in private...

the mod team is not based on popularity contest, all public votes are generally just that... a popularity contest...

there's lots and lots of stuff that is taken into account during the selection process...
