I want to know is it still cheaper to build MS b4 ascending?

its the same price before and afterwards (at least, im pretty sure it is, havent been un-ascended in a while)

i believe its cheaper up to AG then it remains the same?

Asgard motherships have more shield power.
Tauri motherships have more volley power.
Goa'uld and Replicator motherships are the same as ascended motherships (Not including fleets).
