So therefor, they are not written well at all if 'you' can read them in one day.

Anyone can read them in one day. I don't think she uses a single word with more than 3 syllables, and definitely nothing that would require a dictionary search or that you would find on the SAT/ACT. They're 300-page, 2 hour reads.

but yes i can agree the books were good but not great... and i to couldn't put them down... but for a first attempt are writing books meyer did ok i haven't read the host yet but have heard its 100x better

on topic with the films... the 4th book which is to be split into two films i believe is going to fail!! all that have read it should see what im getting at but shh no spoilers

I can usually get through a 300-page book in less than 12 hours, but the easier reads fly by faster. It gets easier the more you read...

The Host is better. Better detail and more 3 dimensional characters in a much more well-thought-out world.

I don't like the idea of the 4th book being split, because I don't feel the book contained enough detail/story to manage a split (they will probably end up as 90 minutes each). But whatever makes more money, right?

i agree not enough happens... and tbh were do they stop and then start from i can not figure where would be a good part to stop at...

it would be better to make it into a almost 3 hour film then splitting it up into 2... and they need to stick the rating up on it to at least a 15 to make it any good otherwise it will kill the book totally

They will probably cut it sometime after they get back to the Cullen's place with all the freaking out and the werewolves.

Watched this last night, some good stuff, short fight scene, bit of vampire politics / powerplay, but mostly, like 90% chickflick.

Best scene - The little battle, should have been longer

Best Character - Alice, nothing beats a hot vamp

Interesting bits - The histories of how/when the Cullen vamps were turned

Funniest part - Bella wants to get laid and the vamp wont give her one

Boring chick stuff - Oh know I lurrv you, oh but I lurrrrv you too, oh but I lurrrrvvvvv you more, oh I want marry you, oh but your some warm I want to kissssss you, oh but I will get old and not look so good, I want to live/lurrrrvvvv forever etc etc blah blah bloody blah

I forgot to post, i took my little sis and my fiance. My fiance does not want to admit it but she was so into it its not even funny i on the other hand was so far gone that i thought the movie lasted 15 hours , they dragged it on and on and on and then i got a 5 second fight scence **Filtered** me sideways why dont you
