Control of game

why dont they make control of the game more important, asgard now control it and i dont think many are bothered to try change that. i was thinking perhaps those that control the game could get a bonus like up or naq bonues or perhaps a discount on stuff like weapons and u.p. since they control the galaxy.
also if there was a race bonus to fight for thats exactly what we'd get a war, race against race. it would be something to fight for and would have many of the top fighting each other.
the idea needs alitte more work but thats what i was thinking for now. ill post again should i have better details.

ummmm no bonus it hasnt changed much for about 6 months(asgard in control)......
i say the 3 other races that are not in control should geta a bonus if u wacked asgards....so who ever is in control the other 3 races get a slight advantage to even things out a little but thats just me talking.

in war, only the victors get bonuses, losers go home and whine how its not fair

exactly, the more power you have the easier it should be to gain resources, recruit/train men, etc

indeed, but it should be a few percents at best. cant make it too unfair for others...
perhaps 5% bonus to Your original race bonus stat, 30UU per turn more or something along those lines. make it appealing to control the universe!

exactly, it makes it a game. people will have goals not just farming and building up uu. it also makes choosing your starting race more interesting.
plus with limits on changing race people couldnt just keep switching to controlling one

becuase ...
A) your a asgard
But if u start giving them a bonus alot of other races will swicth to asgard further increasing there control of the galaxy. and plus havent u learned that its always ppl in the top stay in the top. If u implement this idea there is no way in hell the other 3 other races can cacth up there already way ahead of us!

I'm a replicator, and you're missing the point.
It isn't to give the controlling race a bonus really, it's to make the other races strive for something.

ok we arent asgard, well not all. but it would make game better. people cant switch as much now theres limits. plus who would switch and lose huge amounts of nid or other race supertroops just for a 5% or 10% bonues.
ok about top imagine top 100 asgard being attacked by everyother race in top 100, it would lead to those controling the galaxy at top veing targeted and therefore allowing others a chance to get in.

what i no the asards in the top 100 have really really really high defence...and plus whos going to mass them? in this game i noticed ppl dont really care about whos in control of the galaxy even if they have the bonus or not...ppl wouldnt just waste resources to help there entire race to get control of the galaxy. PPl look after themselves ...let me ask u
Would u mass the top 100 agards if u had the chance to help ur entire race to be in control? would u use ur own resoucres to do this for ppl who dont really care what u did for them?

since there is a suggestion about what to do w/ inactive players why not make like every other one replicator or something to make sure it is more balanced and the replicators will have a better chance or just switch the leader of the galaxy once a month or so that way it will be more of a batlle
i think this is an awesome idea
but it is better for us asgard and i have friends that arent so it would be unfair to them and to asgard
in summary mix it up every once and a while
instead of 4 races in the battle why not count ancients and tollan and system lords and nanotimasters to make it 8 competing for it i think that would be better then just give 1 race a discount or something every so many weeks to make others rise to the top
(just make sure ancients get the best discounts)lol
