Connection reset issues

Over the past week Ive had some issues with main and ascended server pages loading (which havnt been an issue before)
In main I can train troops, build weaps etc all fine but I have the following issues:
-Banking page sometimes takes 2-3minutes to load, or for the naq to be banked takes a similar time.
-Loading battlefield page sometimes fails - especially on the "ranking by relations page" (giving the 'connection was reset during loading' error) and will refuse to load on refresh. When it does load sometimes when working through the pages of my farm list it will give the same error and not work again for a while.
-When attacking for naq, about 10% of the time the browser error page appears - the one with a list of internet browsers and how to fix (I tried this fix - didnt work)
In ascended I can train troops and weapons etc fine, I can't however recon, godquest, or even attack people successfully - getting the same connection reset issue.
I use Mozilla Firefox. I didn't have this issue last week, only since I have got back from holiday. I get the same issues from different internet locations (my flat, my girlfriends flat etc) and no I dont have dial-up
Any ideas?
