We fear that giving a refund on naq for the bank upgrades could further an imbalance between players due to a sudden increase in naq for some players.

Bank upgrades cost: reduced to 75%, down from 95%.
Bank upgrade multiplier: increased to 2.2, up from 2.

This will allow newer players reach the higher bank levels faster and give the older players a boost in their bank size.

Attack Fatigue Cap: reduced to 25%, down from 50%
Attack Fatigue increase rate: reduced to .10 down from .25 (a decrease from 3.75% to 1.5% for 15at)

Defence Alert Cap: reduced to 35%, down from 50%
Defence Alert increase rate: reduced to .10 down from .25 (3.75% to 1.5% for 15at)

Covert and anti covert units cost reduced to 18,000, down from 20,000 (This is the easiest way to increase the destructive capabilities of spies)

Alliances are no longer limited in 'race'.

Since these are an adjustment we are pushing the update directly to the server, because of this the changes have been watered down from what had been previously discussed.

I'll be in IRC Friday for the 3:30pm pst meeting, and again at 5:00pm pst. If you cannot make the meetings please feel free to leave comments and thoughts below.

What about the idea of an ingame market?
A very simple one, though, with only a few choices, but perhaps an option to buy turns?
Just a thought.

Bank capacity 1.1bil :-D

Now if only the cost of banking naq wasn't there I'd probably use it seeing how I was finally hit last night

I'd have to get some more feedback from other players if they think this is a good idea or not. I wouldn't mind adding it to the game so long as it doesn't create any kind of imbalance.

If we do add a new market, it would probably launch at the same time, or shortly after MS are added.

A player to server market might not be such a bad idea.

A player to player market I don't think so, that might cause imbalance and I say this as an active player with friends who don't log in but have accounts floating around.

So a market to once a week or so buy extra turns could be something to look at, or to buy some extra uu, but that would kinda have to be it.

I wouldn't know what ratios to say though

I have to agree with non-player-to-player trades. This could also bypass the need for a bank. As people can just save their 1B for 12 people. Though this would improve team work...

Player-to-player would also allow feeding.
Quantum was ruined because of feeding.
This game has too much potential to be ruined like that.
