So is malestorm alliance good? like couldnt any take them down??

First of all it's Maelstrom.
Second that alliance does not exist anymore.
But you will find most of the active Maelstrom members in Destruction.
Oh and I'm not answering the other part, it's like a drama super magnet.

like comparing apples and bananas..
Maelstrom were strong in their realm (perg), others like TDD are strong on main.
How they would go against each other on equal ground is mere speculation..
*puts cat among the pigeons, maybe they could have a 2 week war.. one week on main and one in perg*

maelstrom was a very well known alliance that had a great set of poeple in it who worked together brilliantly (and drunkly)

They were good at teamwork from what I've been told
But the reason they get no respect from the SGW Community is/was because they only ever fought ( bullied ) smaller perg accounts, they deliberately kept there armysizes low just so they could stay in an area meant for smaller newer inexperienced players and as an alliance never came out to main to face anyone noteworthy. When Maelstrom members occasionally visited main to sell off UU or ascend they simply took massings without retaliating, and Maelstrom victories in perg were hollow & worthless since they never faced anyone with accounts equal to or better than theirs, also the perg attack limits meant the individuals they targeted had no way to retaliate.
In the SGW dictionary the word Maelstrom will go down in history as meaning 'organised bullying of small noobs by players who hide in perg from anyone who can match or better them'

correct me if im wrong but is that not what everyone in the game does , bully the smaller players, ones who cant hit back with any real hope of winning, dont most have farm lists, hit small players who try and attack their alliance or themselves, i read a thread saying that to mass a newbie who attacks the alliance through ignorance or just newness take 'ball' and all supported it. everyone has their own style and the guys in perg play different to those in main so why not just agree that thye may be good players with good accounts who play differently to all the guys in main
