Maybe possible to post achievements, like "XY just ascended to Prophet" or "XY's defence was just massed by Z" or simply "XY just defended an attack from Z".
Or about raid/buy limit, military experience, house activities, alliance leadership, name/title changes, etc..
It needs to be customized, which events should automatically posted, or something like that.

Though I would say significant events. Since being massed would be like spam on someone's facebook. But I like it. Events like "Player kvarga successfully defended an attack by Sarevok without taking any losses." and "Sarevok has Zeroed kvarga's defence."

Brilliant idea imo. And would almost be like advertising.

if its immediate, its exploitable. can be used to track incoming attacks when not even on the game.

just like the IM/PM/text alerts idea for incoming attacks.

well there are a few SGW groups on there already, but none are active.

It really depends on the frequency. Like if it's only when your defence is 0'd, then it's to late to repair. And if there was a time delay, it wouldn't be any worse, then having an attack page reload every 10 seconds, and have a script that detects a change on the page.

Sure it's illegal, but how would it detect simple text select

I agree.

I see no reason to use Facebook or Myspace on 2 reasons.

1. Both are a heaven for hackers and crackers because of the low sercurity.
2. Because of 1 both should be abandon and closed.

It is for that reason that i have a profile only to protect those of my friends on facebook i care about because they won't listen.

My profile are never access on my home PC directly its runned on a PC in a DMZ zone of its own so if someone hack my account the only thing they see is well nothing because there is nothing.

I best saw that both sites where abandon and fast as they do not care about security and they own all your pictures. So why waste time.

And as Tim said Jason should rather use his time to fix Ascended and GW, the turns are to many and there is way to many things wrong in this game and therefore killing it.
