PPT/Mins

I've starting this post because i've had people ask for some loans.
For PPT 2 billion ingame funds are needed. To make 2 billion you need an income of 20.83 million a turn. Which is about 260K of miners. (commender will change the number of miners needed.) Now to make a profit, cause up above is just to break even look for more then 300K of miners. In between 260-300 just forget it you will make more by just logging into your account.

Uh, is this just a suggestion because I think that it would fit better in General if it is.

No it's specific n00b advice and belongs here.. :)

It may be to specific, I just tell them to work it out themselves...
In three days you'll probably just have to readjust everything.
But if you instill common sense and basic consumer math the n00bs can do it on their own.
Good luck instilling...

Alas gone are the days when a PPT was as easy to get a hold of as marijuana in the PNG highlands. The only thing that has remained about the same is the amount of Turns required.
Thus PPT's really aren't worth the hassle if you're just after it for the Naq profit. If you log on enough you don't have to worry about being farmed and if you don't get the chance to log on, up your covert defence to lower our income or just get an insanely large defence. I go with the former rather then the latter.
High Empty is quite right, unless you have over 279K (253K for people with no commanders, 223K for Goa’uld and 203K for commanderless Goa’uld) of miners you won’t make squat but you will be ahead on repair costs if you usually get farmed.
My advice, don’t bother.

BUT, you guys are forgetting the protection lol, I personally go on ppt's with less than that just so I could actually get the large amounts without being farmed, even if you lose you still have a larger lump sum.

Yeah, i feel kinda unclean for agreeing with adju, but the PROTECTION is the main bonus for me and for many players. I can make a load more naq/UU's trading for turns instead of PPT, i would only go on PPT if i was away for a few days or really busy and didn't have enough covert/defense to protect my naq even with critical alert level...

and I know FOR SURE that you don't have enough UU

Nah, i haven't traded for over a week so i actually have a fair amount now, market rates jumping all over the place so i'm holding onto my UU's for the time being. Doesn't help that my 3 raid targets all trained up their UU's tho, lol, that was a happy week, cashing in, farming them to quadruple my UU's, ahh, good memories :-D

Never sell turns for Naq. That is a bad idea, you can make three times market value off of your attacks.
