2018 and 2022 WC bids

I heard today that the 2nd December will be the day there is an announcement of who wins the bid for the World Cup in 2018 and 2022.

Who would you want to win?

For 2018 I obviously go with England.

For 2022 i go with Australia. They pulled out of the 2018 bid to concentrate on the 2022 bid.

None of them hosted a WC Tournament and my preference is based on that firstly, then 2ndly it's because both countries have some tradition/experience in hosting sport events, like the summer/winter Olympic games. Dunno if Russia will have a chance for the 2018 WC since they will host the winter Olympics in Soci in 2014, though. But you can never know...

England for 2018.....The reason why because we invented the bloody game and its time it came home..English fans are the best in the World...
Russia is a rip off...a few friends went to Moscow to watch United in the champions league the other season they said they jacked the prices up on everything and also the police were locking people up for no reason...they wanted a bribe to let them go free....
I trust these guys they follow united every where and have funny as hell storys of their travels...

2022 Australia, because the last Korea Japan WC saw such bad refereeing and some of the worst decisions made at a WC that you had to question the legitimacy of the officials. Qatar isn't a well known footballing nation (Like South Africa but we're sexy) so let the Soccerroos host it

But we still deserve to host it...by the time it comes round to a Europe country hosting it again after 2018 i will be nearly 50 years old and that is to far away and i am not to sure i will be around then

We did invent it, if you see where footballs roots came from its nothing like the game today.

anyway england must get 2018, the world cup has been away from us for far to long, Russia who are supposedly the closest rivals are nowhere near aswell equipped, as for 2022 gotta be the australia, japan only had it 8 years ago and qatar gettin it would be a joke.
