Sorry for the resurection...
Could you guys by any chance creare a template which is the maximum? Just to compare for those people who arnt sure. I think that would be lovely.

how much? I set it to 450px by 700px
maybe photobucket resized it, firefox shows it at 411px by 639 px
edit: I changed it on photobucket, once the server updates it should have the correct image on here.

Just find something 450 pixels high (measure something, take the time to do it once -- not hard) and remember how much space it takes up in your window and try and remember that for future reference. That's what I do.
