Guys need some help.
We've got a '04 VW Passat, 1.8 TDI 4x4 with Gamma car radio. I cannot connect my phone to it's radio (it's Nokia bluetooth device and I've got Samsung Omnia HD but it shouldn't be a problem due to that) - I've got a 7-digit code that came with car keys but that doesn't seem to be the right pairing code.
Does anyone know how many digits and maybe which digits are the default manufacturer's pairing code? I've been searching through the internet but couldn't find any useful manual about default pairing codes for gamma car radios, etc.
I've already tried using '1111', '1234' and '9999' as a pairing code but it doesn't work

If the radio is the one that is integraded originaly, u can't know the digits as they are different for each car. Just drive it to the nearest VW authorized mechanic and tell him your problem. I had to do this when I my car acu died and my computer locked, and I just gave the guy 5€

default manufacture codes for bluetooth devices are usally "0000"

give that a try

If it is the original radio, go to a dealer or car place and give them the vin number, they should be able to find the code using that ID.

we called the dealer on the phone and they gave us our code,

Was any serial number needed for that Odji so you have to extract the radio from car because it's on the back side?

If it's the original don't you have the manual for the radio I think it's written in the back of that or something. I dunno, I refuse to drive my sister's VW anyway. There's a reason I spent 7 grand on car sound

that blows, I dont mind working under the hood of a car but in the dash i hate,, hope you got this worked out

Dmonix - it is the original radio but we didn't get any manual with it, sadly.

Well my suggestion would be buy a new radio, one that has fancy features and such, they just look cooler anyway instead of the plastic look of default radios in cars. Pioneer make awesome front loaders but if you're willing to pay for name Kenwood and Alpine are expensive for a reason
