Hey everyone,

I guess some of you might still remember me, while others never met me.
I left the game about 2 years ago, my account was hacked and I lost a couple of 100mil UU.

Now Mods, please don't move this, as this technically isn't an 'I've been hacked' post (I've already written a mail to urgent@stargatewars).
It's more a 'What the heck am I supposed to do' kind of post.

Anyway, the thing is I've written to 'urgent' as mentioned above and receive following mail:

I am able to turn old accounts (within reason) back over to the owners if ample evidience is provided. I would not however replace resources. Your account has been on vacation so it would not have lost resources, it never gained them. Unfortunately your email does not match either on the main or the ascended. So unless you can provide more info I will not be able to turn it over.
I would need email, password, last IP if possible.

a) As far as I know Ishtar and 311 were hacked as well, and at least 311's account was completely recovered (including lost resources, I believe).
Obviously, I'm not asking for the resources I've lost since then, but only what the hacker removed from my account. Is that too much to ask?

b) I've provided a mail address that I'm 99% sure was my log-in info (it's been almost 2 years since I last logged in, you know...). Since then the hacker could have easily changed it and the password. They got into my account after all, didn't they?
IP, it's the same thing. How can I remember my IP from 2 years ago, every time my router resets or I lose my connection I get a new IP...


So my question is, anyone knows what I can do about that? What 'proof' can I give Admin Sue? How can other get back their accounts so easily after being hacked?
Maybe someone who knows me from back then and has connections to Jason/Sue can put in a word for me?

Most don't wait 2 plus years to report it though Unless I read you wrong that is what your saying... and in which case I know of no way though others here might good luck!

lilith acc was hacked those times , she never knew i presume and admin set all those acc in perm vac till owner shows , to get acc back u have just to contact admin but about resources could not fully work. wish u good luck and wlc back

Lithium is right.

I didn't know that I was hacked until recently when I wanted to pick up playing again.
As I said, I left the game (which means I didn't try logging in, didn't read the forums etc). It's not like I waited on purpose, I just didn't know.

Also: Lith, I already contacted Admin Sue, which pretty much led nowhere, that's why I'm asking here.

For anyone that doesn't realise, this is related to the vac hackings a couple of years ago.

It is quite obvious the emails wouldn't match as the hacker is likely to have changed it. Ishtar's old account that was also hacked is the CO of Lilith's account. Both were placed on vac by Admins.

Is there no record of old emails used? Like the forums keep records?

If i'm around on Friday i'll try and speak to Jason. You deserve to get the resources back that you lost during the hacking because it was quite clearly not your fault. But to not even get the account back is ludicrous.

I'll try and help, but that's the best i can offer.

And again, just to make it clear:
If there's no way at all that I could get my resources back, it wouldn't be that bad.
It would be a pain considering I was above plague already back then and had #19 armysize in ascended - but hey, I caught up to the 'big guys' once before...
However, I remember every single time someone was hacked back in my days, that they always got the lost resources (and I mean lost due to the hacking) back.

as for the IP.....can a forum admin not find your old IP from a previous forum post?...I know you say they change....but I would imagine they'd have a range of forum IP's that matched your login to game

yea you were the best account to farm hehehe

as far as i rememebr admin perma vacationed thsoe accoutns to prevent furrther hackinga nd cheating. if admin sue cannot help maybe this is beyond her authority level and you can speak to admin at one of the meetings or keep pestering him with emails.

Rene and R8, I think I will follow both your suggestions.

I'll ask a forum admin for some of my old IPs and send that info to Sue.
I will also try to make it to the meeting on Friday, although I don't know what time of the day it would be for me over where I live...

Can anyone tell me what (ingame-)time the meeting usually is?

@Lilith, if you have any stuff like email address or IPs that you want Jason to check let me know and I'll pass them on. Not really sure how else to proof you used the account.... besides the history on the forums....

Thats something i didnt think i'd ever see.. Its nice to see older players returning.

If you do get your account back and it restored to its former glory..You'll have ALOT of catching up to do thats for sure. But you can do it
