Now it's just a suggestion but I'm trying to make the forum better :D

Why don't we do a clearing of all the old names that are never on here, there are like 60 plus pages of zero posters woudlnt' that speed up the forum a bit? or if you didn't want to do that why not delete some that haven't been on here in like 4-5 years or something

or do a mix of both? like 3 years with less then 100 psots or something

Just trying to help out on some advice let me know :D

Not really all the time but sometimes like turn change don't know if that matters or not but sometimes it goes slow, so I figured maybe this would stop those times not sure though but just an Idea

deleting users wont help speeding the forum , also if one will read an old post it wont say the poster name just deleted and who knows what one could have posted 5 years ago

As Lith says - they're memories.

I just clicked on the members section and found:

6 Opticallove Wed Feb 09, 2005 5:18 pm 33 Forum Newbie

You want to delete Optical???

We should preserve as much as possible - perhaps move some of the older stuff to an archive forum even if necessary, but definitely not be deleting anything......besides, I've never noticed these forums to be slow either....

always handy for tracking down multis and scammers too, though those with 0 posts could probably go.

The forums wouldn't be bound to be slow in the same way the game would... There are tons of calculations going on in the game that cause the lag.. The forums don't need to calculate anything. All the inactive user's values stay the same. Like the others have said, no sense in deleting old memories.

On a side note, I'm sure there is some uneccesary clutter that could be removed... though.

Not any account with at least one post should be removed...
However, accounts with zero posts, with more than let's say 15 monthes of inactivity...wouldn't be bad to remove them again (I know many of those were removed from time to time by Bazsy).

No gain so no point, they don't slow down things at all probably.

Clean members count/pages out of useless accounts.. :-D
It's a common thing that fora clean inactive non posting accounts to have bit of space free'd.

There is a very easy way to batch delete users from the ACP that have never posted and haven't logged in in X amount of whatever.
