longer Alliance Attack Log

Hey,

I have an idea about AAL. I think it should show longer period... at least 2 days, but it would be much more useful if 4 days or even a whole week. Also, there would be a combobox in oder to choose the time period (1, 2, ... 7 days) and the "1 day" would be the default...
Hence, the personal attack log shows 10 days I think it's not too complicated to do. According to my programming knowledge, it seems a half an hour job (put a combobox and change the query), but eventually this feature could be very useful...

It is however alot of added information... and if implemented could increase lag...

This is why there is the default 1 day length... when you just enter the AAL you see only 1 day!
And the information must be stored in the database, hence the personal log shows 10 days...

Though a filter so you could search by name or alliance might be handy :)

I also support the suggestion for 48 hour Logs, default 24 hour Logs... :-)

48 would be better then 24.

It would mean that if you can't make the exact change over period you have a greater buffer to copy/paste

luckily now, we have timestamps that carry over,

but yea, even so,

not everyone responsible has time to do it every 24 hours... :)

LOL what would 48 hours do anyway?

You all forget the following.

The log shows the LAST 1000 hits NO MATTER WHAT.

Meaning if you get 3000 hits in 14 hours it would still only show the last 1000 of them.

So if you increase it to 48 hours how much would that help?

A big alliance would have more than a 1000 hits a day way more.

Meaning 48 hours log means nothing unless you also increase the amount of hits shown or remove it.

As long you forget this part this idea will be worthless.

I know only the basics of programming, so this may be very hard, but how about if a member gets massed or attacked or sabbed a fair amount in a short amount of time, it shows it as one thing, stating at's used and total attacks. Discuss.

I think if it were by one player, and no one else interrupted, it'd be fairly easy...

on the other hand, one of my alliance mates was just massed by two DOC members simultaneously... apparently second time in the last 30 days... :evil:

Lol m8 here is a examble since your not good enough to think your self.

Farming on a alliance with 40 members: roughly 20 hits a turn.

Someone then get massed thats another 200 - 400 hits.

Then maybe somone has his planet stolen thats if its defended another 100 hits.

Its so easy to get the 1000 before 24 hours.

I know that as a fact and i will bet DDE, TLE, TPP, Ricos, OE alliances has over 1000 hits on them a day atm.

So I'm willing to accept maybe 10hits/turn? If half of the alliance make more then something like 25b/turn after nox and critical have been put on But not 20.

Like you said, if it's defended. But lets say in the alliance 1 person get 1 planet massed that has a defence, that's 540 attacks.

LOL m8 when my alliance was more active it isn't we generated over 2000 hits a day we got over 2000 hits on us a day.

lol m8 i know for a fact most big alliances that actually cared to count found out they did and had often more than 1000 hits a day.

100 where do you get 100 from since DAY 1 the 24 hours log was a 1000 as far i remember back.
