At the moment I think the max ascensions is "25". I think it should be increased to 30 to have a full number.

Its 23 at the moment. Unknown is the 23rd ascention. And is that the only reason you want to increase how many ascentions there are so that its a full number?

6 more ascensions (23-29) means 3 more months to ascend.
30 ascensions @ 2 weeks each = 60 weeks, over a year to finish ascending alone.

Just leave it where its at, the game is already becoming horribly 1 sided why make it worse.
