I have an lg account, just over a 1 trill ms, nearly 500k a day up, level 34 covert, full techs on my ms, not sure on whether i should ascend or not

what the thoughts ?

Well let's break it down.....


just over a 1 trill ms - weapons/shields remain (exluding tech lvls)

nearly 500k a day up - RAW or TOTAL? - if RAW that will be costly to get back.

level 34 covert - not overly difficult to get back

full techs on my ms - again not overly difficult to get back

500k raw, think the most costly thing would be my covert level but like you say wont be too hard too get back !

I hate the lg title so think i will just go for it !

I wouldn't buy the MS tech upgrades while you're ascending, you'll just lose the weapons and shields over again every time you ascend. considering you have at least 3 more ascensions after this one...

That depends if you plan on getting your 500k raw back straight away. A 500k raw UP costs approx 200t whereas covert lvl 1 - 34 costs 103t.

I agree with the above that you shouldn't bother with all 10 tech lvls if you plan on ascending several times quickly.

IMO ascending past LG+1 is only worth it if you plan on going all the way to Unknown, and if you do plan on going to Unknown you need to consider the total costs and time needed to get there, what you lose on this one ascension is just the first step.

17 ascensions with a 2 week wait on each one is 34 weeks, thats almost 9 months in which time you will be playing with lower UPs, Coverts and MS than you used to if you do it economic way or be highly active if you want to raid farm enough to build higher and afford the ascensions. Go for it - but like Mezz said, don't do it if you find ascending boring.

I don't play this game to be bored.

It's alot of time and resource committment.

If you do enough farming to buy you UU, build your stats and stay in the top 150.. then do it. Otherwise you're looking at AT least 1 month per ascenscion... (after AG) LG+1-AG can probably be done in two months without much for losses.

Loses Weapons and Shields?

You loose 0 when you ascend on your MS when it comes to shield and weapons.

Every time i ascend my MS has the shields and weapons as always but if i didn't rebuy the MS tech i would not be able to rep my shield and weapons before they come back down to what i have without tech.

But if no one hits me then i keep MY shield and weapons without having to rebuy my techs for as long i want so far i tested over a ppt periode after a ascendtion 10 days no loss. But after ppt i was hit and as i guessed i couldn't rebuild as i was over my natural allowence.

No pain, no gain.
