Somebody PLEASE tell me how planet defences work...

Attack defended 15 0 39,172 6,113,697,480,000 587,594,800,000 details

So, there is more than 10x the attack power of the person attacking - YET, they managed to attack unscathed...

3T Planet Defence + 3.3T Mobile Platforms - so even though I outdid the natural fleet size, it was still taken.

Your sure they didn't just buy fleets again?

100% positive

it usually says that the fleets were destroyed, I also have about 3 pages of logs to suggest they didn't...as 12T each time to arm such a fleet...

A complete valid hit, it was absolute borderline and only because of the "variation" that was added in the April updates!
