Hi I might be selling turns soon dude I noticed your rebuilding an dhave quite a lot of naq out. Wondered if youd be willing to buy 4k turns for 13 trillion. Very steep I know but it would help me plus it would help you for turns. Also you could attach as my officer I\'ll try and protect you as you rebuild.
I received this PM from someone ingame. What do people think. 3T/1kAT sound fair?

Extortion would be saying buy 4K turns for 13T or i mass you... lol
Can't really blame a person for trying lol. However, the whole concept doesn't make much sense.. If you're trying to rebuild why would you spend 13T on AT.. especially considering even after farming them, you'd have little/none profit gained.

I think the extortion is implied, just like the bribery in government...
Tetris, I digress, massing would seem to be an appropriate response for people with the skills and resources to do so...
plus there are lots of extremely powerful people ingame who will do more than "try" to protect you... and they won't require tribute...
many of them are my friends...

I don't know if its extortion or scamming. If he would have said "i'll mass you if you don't buy/sell like i want too" then sure but maybe he was just thinking your leaving and don't need the resources..

Its not scamming or extortion..the guy is chancing his arm as he probably can see that your somewhat of a big player...and you have a fair amount of resources.

he should hit up Bebita with that price. i bet he still makes plenty of profit no problem.
On a serious note though its weird that he would choose you to send that message to. it seems like that kind of message would be better sent to a more obviously new account if he was trying to go the route he seems to be taking.
