If I'm almost broke, but I got a real good deal on a 8foot pool table that was slate, for only $125 and it's in mint condition? should I spend it and only have like 20 bucks until next friday?

I vote yes, but I'm rather impulsive.

I may have said no at first, but you said it was a dream to own one. If you can make due with the money you have currently (and if you're a single man) then yeah, eat instant noodles for a week, you'll be glad you did when you're enjoying your new pool table.

If there are things coming up which will exceed your funds... Do not do it.

Also, I love pool, so I may be slightly biased.

Really up to you Roket..if you want to be flat broke and have a pool table ( that you can turn around and sell if you need too ) Then sure, on the other hand.. Would you die if you didnt get it..?

Ask him if he can hold it for a few days..Otherwise i dont think it'd be entirely worth it.

Unless its just your life long dream to own one..then i mean..if you dont think your ever gonna get a chance and its a dream..then sure..why not..but i would advise against it

If it wasn't for the fact you can't support yourself and your child for 20 bucks I'd say definitely, pool is awesome!
