Let's suppose I want to spend big money on improving my SGW account(s).

Should I:

1) Buy ingame resources from players

2) Buy dualie planets from players

3) Buy additional upgrades from Admin:

Supporter Bonuses ($20)

Ultimate Supporter Bonuses ($50)


4) a second computer for simultaneous logins for farming / massing...

5) Purchase Broadband internet access & service...
or better access & service... as you will see...

6) Other specific suggestions...


And actually, I'm just using myself as an example...

For starters, I don't actually plan to plunk down anything additional...

but let's say I wanted to be the next wealthy warmonger...

how would one go about it?

Buy good ascendet account, bigger ascendet then better with:

• MS above 1 T power
• Spy and ac level 34 +
• Good Row UP to regenerate

If you buy low ascendet account and ascend it you would loose more resources ascending it ...

Planets are not worth buying or building because their is allways some one who will take it

He has a point however his figures are a bit short...

MS would have to be above 2T as 1T is nothing now. 2T wont get you in the top 20now.
Because of the new updates you cant hold a decent defence unless you have spy level 36 or it will just get sabbbed
And UP, Hmmmm, you could always raid or farm and buy with naq. But yeah a good UP does help.

And before you would invest in this you would have to be unknown.

And lastly you have to have it in yourself to be a warmonger.

Definitely buy an account NOT resources, accounts always sell well below the value of the resources that built them, also saves a huge amount of time.

If money is no problem, I would agree with Icebreaker that the higher ascended the better and agree with Kojak that 2Trill+ MS and Covert level 36+ are desirable.

If on a tighter budget I would say higher ascensions are more important, Coverts and MS can be worked on later.

IMO with the low market prices new players with a few $$$ or the time to farm raid resources to buy an account with can progress further faster in this game now than any anytime in the past.

Icebreaker and Kojak, make a lot of sense. Depends if you want to say you built your own account or not.

But having a good account also needs work. I know someone that was given a rank 4 account a couple of years ago, but didn't know how to manage it... its now a farm.

So money/resources is just one aspect, skill time and dedication also come into play.

Essentially you would need to buy a TUK with a high covert level and duals as you said you would be spending the USS every week.

So you would use two a week and have 3 open days where you could lose planets. And one USS gives you 30 days of merlin (3 days * ten planets = Moar dans needed)

You would also then grow your UP every week and acquire 21 T , 19,8 mil UU and 19,8 k AT's. This alone will be enough to fund a huge MS

And with the ten Duals you could easily have a 500 mil Army size and earn shed loads on PPT to fund more UP or a bigger MS. Meaning any farming you do is for fun

I wasn't trying to suggest 10 Dual Stat Planets... only the possibility of some Dualies...

Regrettably, since I've played with this account as long as I have,

(Four years, this past September.)

I am incredibly opposed to changing it for a different account.


I suppose that if I were getting sat on by a warmonger,
or an empire of warmongers, then I might...

but even then, there are still options for playing and having fun.

(note that most of the options are not considered reputable by many,
but the people who employ them do seem to have fun.)
