Ascended CO and Non-Ascended Officer Relations
Part 1.
Officer to CO. This shows the enhancement bonus a non-ascended officer will provide to an ascended CO.
Part 2.
CO to officer. Will show the benefits that an ascended CO will provide to his/her officer.
Part 3.
Modification to non-ascended unique technology.

Ascended CO’s
-Give
--Income boost (as currently implemented)
--Improve chance to unique occurrence
--Access to Weapon Efficiency Technology
--Stat Improvement

Improvement Details
Unique Technology
-CO increases the chance the officer unique will occur.
--Raw % + % chance of AB/2
--30% + 64%/2 = 62% chance of occurrence
--I think the raw is 30% or around there, but I don’t remember the exact number

Weapon Efficiency Technologies
-10 Levels
-Improves weapon strength by 10%
-Such that by the end, each weapon strength is double of its’ original value
-If officer leaves CO, keeps these levels, but cannot purchase new ones.
-This is to allow non-ascended weapons to be able to compete with ascended.

Stat Improvement
-This is a passive bonus that CO’s give to officers after a set interval of time.
-Determined by a series of different levels.
-Time between each level of improvement: 1 week
-Provides a direct 0.05% increase to the racial bonus
-current race bonus becomes: bonus = race bonus + commander/godly/ etc bonus
-This resets itself every time a non-ascended officer changes CO’s.
-Level Cap: 5

Descension
-When Ascended CO is descended
--Non-Ascended officers lose
---Ability to buy more weapon efficiency techs
---Increased chance for the unique to engage
----the raw chance remains
---The stat improvement reset to 0
----stays at 0 until CO loses the descended status, then the 1 week time period starts again
----after the first week, the officer regains 5%, such that it takes 5 weeks again to reach level 5.


Now the non ascended unique techs are not exactly up to current standards, in Part 3, there is some proposed changes to enhancing and adjusting what it is they do.

NOTE: This thread is for discussion of part 2 only.

I'm not sure this will work to well. Reason being it forces lone-wolves to get a CO to be up to standard of those with an ascended CO. Perhaps the techs are available to both, and instead give them to the person cheaper who has an ascended CO (at least the upgrade parts anyway).
