What do you guys think about this?

I think this is completely dumb and it goes to show how the world is getting more and more messed up as each month goes by in this world. It also goes to show how all people older than the age of 45 shouldnt be in any kind of power that could let this kind of stuff go on/happen in this world today.

Idiots in power allowing idots t sit on the bench and call themselves judges..thier not judges, they just have that job..why do I say that? You can put a pigmy on the higest throne..but at the end of the day its still a pigmy. Get my point?

this is wrong to the point its left me with no words that have not already been said, or thoughts all here haven't thought already...strange how a "judge" cannot say or see what "normal" people can.

What the actual **Filtered**?!?

One of my favorite lines from the article:
"she was three months shy of turning 5 when Ms. Menagh was struck, and thus old enough to be sued."

Is it just me or is that completely retarded?

Also the article says that the woman died 3 months later of un-related causes, so it's not as though they can claim 'special circumstance' for causing her death. :?

I'd sue the court and get that girl through college, two cars and daddy's new truck.

you shouldnt be able to be sued untill the child should be ten. Just shows how America and the rest of the world (no affense Americans) is being screwed up. Stupid court judge.

Pure Insanity

Age limits for attaching blame/liability are intended to indicate the age at which a child knows the difference between right & wrong for intentional actions, since this was an accident the age limit is null and void.

This is a clear case of money grabbing scum trying to blame anyone or anything to line their pockets, if the lady had tripped or slipped they would probably be suing the City for uneven paving or not cleaning the pavement, or shoemakers for laces that she could tie tight enough, anything to get a few $$s
