as far as religion and belief in God-goes i'm agnostic and i've yet to see anything to get me to come down off my fence so to speak, BUT i do believe in "other dimensional beings". i've seen my mums cat react to things in a room when there was nothing there, and i have seen other animals react to things i cant see.

our senses are VERY limited and we only see a short wave of the light spectrum, so logically, it is possible that we are surrounded by beings (or whatever) we cant see.

below is a film supposedly showing an exorcism that was filmed in 2003 by Channel 4 TV. the exorcism starts about 2 and half minutes in to the film.

there is also a wealth of info regarding "other dimensional beings" from ancient texts and even the bible which warns about communication with such beings because they are liars and deceivers....just some food for the thought.

anyways, what are your thoughts on the film or the subject at hand.

Other dimensional beings ? Scientifically possible, same as alien life on other worlds, maybe even probable if you look at the size of the universe. But right here, right now, and scaring your cat ? Not so likely

As for the added possibilities of possession by such creatures and the names devil/demon/spirit. Highly unlikely and implausible IMO. These names are the same as 'God/Gods', just terms previous generations of less knowledgeable humans used to explain things they had no real explanation for in an attempt to make sense of things beyond their understanding.

no they are not the same as "Aliens". the difference between the 2 should be obvious should it not?

just in case we're both signing from different song sheets..."aliens" live in our plane of existence, so baring any kind of technology (light bending or cloaking devices or whatnot...if thats even possible) or natural phenomena-we should be able to see them. the other does not live in our spectrum of light (or dimension) and therefore not visible but there nonetheless...

as for my mums cat and observation of animals, on a few rare occasions i have witnessed my mums cat looking at something as if following it around the room. i dont mean a leisurely look around out of boardom or lack of something better to do, its looking as if tracking something, you have to see the cats eyes to see what i mean.

question...as far as my knowledge of this universe goes (which i freely admit is limited so correct me if i am wrong), everything in this universe or plane of existence vibrates at a specific frequency, what if something exists that vibrates at a different frequency, wouldn't that put whatever it is out of our sensory range? if thats correct then doesn't that constitute a different dimension?

Humans would be Egotistical to believe, that we can see and know all...

I personally believe that there are millions of things out there, that we will never even realize, but then again thats coming from the guy that believes that all things have been done a zillion times over again...

I don't nescicarily belive yes or no with religion exorcisim possession all that jazz, but I do believe, that the big bang has happened a million times, and this "universe" has been created more times then we belive, I simply belive that your devils demons all that is Energy... Energy can not be created and or destroyed... your "Spirits" are just... Different forms of Energy that have not been identified before, whether it's on a "different plane of existance", I believe that if things happen a million times over and over again, and you are just energy, your fears of the devil all that, I belive that is just your energy... Energy mabye "reliving" past things it's been or the things it's seen...

Please remebmer, with the Universe, it is constantly expanding like a rubberband... now it will only go so far, we've found that out, once we hit our threashold we will go back to absolutle densensess.... and I personally believe that has happened longer then we can comprehend and this is not the first time our Energy has been recycled... I hope this makes since to otehrs... sorry I'm not good at writing things... these are my belives lol that deffinatly does not make them right in any way lol

Mate I was not saying that 'Different Dimentional beings' had to be alien, only that I would say they are both possible, even probably to exist somewhere, but neither are IMO likely to be right here right now.

I dont see why aliens would have to live in our plane of existance as you put it, they are not mutually exclusive concepts.

Also yes various animals can and do perceive the world differently to us, some have sonar, some ( mostly fish I think ) can detect electrical disturbance, some have been proven to react to magnetic fields, some can detect changes in air/water pressure, not sure about visual spectrum's, heat or radiation, but many have much wider audio range to us, and many have far superior sense of smell. In fact Humans are very unremarkable physically and have very limited sensory abilities compared to the other species on this planet.

BUT

Modern Humans have a myriad of technologies which can mimic and surpass the sensory abilities of animals so to say animals can perceive something we cant detect with all our tech seems highly unlikely.

You're right of course, I should have said your cat can perceive neutrino's. I want to say ''thats one very impressive......'' but I know the last word will be filtered I've actually used that phrase in RL too, but never to a man before

Just because no one has ever proved a ghost exists or demons are real. Does not mean they aren't. It just means we haven't gotten to that point yet. I never said they didnt exist, if you read my post I said it was IMO ''Highly Unlikely'' that animals even with their impressive sensory abilities could perceive something that all our technology could not detect.

Seeing is beleiving I reckon. A catholic preist once tried to excersize me just because I'm able to do a natural Demonic voice. Let's just say I am easily able to play a Goa'uld without any electonic assistace. But yeah seeing is beleiving.

If only. This was just last years holloween, when I said to his nephew when I gave him candy. He said "Is that all". I said in my natural Goa'uld voice, "Be grateful, or be silent." Needless to say he ran. I never got anymore house visits, and I got the rest of the candy, that was a good night. What were we talking about, lol.
