I suspect I know the answer but none the less.

no everyone has internet 24/7 access so a calc that can be downloaded like on a excel spreadsheet would be a massive help

but why does that matter, if they havent got the internet to get to the calculator, it means they havent the internet to get to the game.

cap = bandwidth

not going on it every time u need it online reduces cap /money wasted per use so 1x download dis much better for capped users.

personally i don't Mind im on unshaped uncapped gamer internet im just thinking about the dial up users and ones who can't afford uncapped in cir tin countries.

a text based online calc maybe takes up 30kb a time ?

adding refreshes if u want to calc more than 1 thing or double check etc it adds up.

So if i'm not correct , the same applies to farming then ?

Grumpy old man..... with regard to whether it should be online or downloadable i think all you need to do is look at what happened recently with the widely used online calculator..... it died and majority of people lost it and only had access to pookie's and maybe a few others. Therefore downloadable is the better option because if it disappeared again people wouldn't end up in the same situation.
