exactly, my first properly played Quantum wave in years (i think 5 or 6 was the last one i played lol), and only recently came back to main after a year out and im keeping up quite well

lol 0 feeds and im barly behind top up accually im top up half the time

flaw in that strat is that techs and up get cheaper the farther away from the Top you are.

but being behind in Techs doesnt hurt you in the long run. being more then say 50% behind the top UP adds up big time especialy with ascensions.

the higher the UP the faster the ascensions, sooner you hit the top (either 15 or 16 depending how fast you are) that is that much more time you have to mass troops for final day.

so even if the top army size is 1/2 your techs they could very well end up being 2-3-4 or maybe even 10x your army size so the tech differnce would be a moot point.

im a medicore player and i mostly just play to enjoy some stat building but even i try to stay within reasonable distance of top UP.
