It depends on what actually happened.

If it's neg naq then it can be if someone hits you at the exact instant you bank or repair etc. It would put you in neg naq because more than what you have would have been taken. It doesn't always happen, but if you're unlucky then it will.

There's also "too many characters" issue. This can quite often happen when banking naq or buying mercs etc especially when using a mobile phone. If what you are using managed to enter more characters in a field, i.e. 999999999999999999999 when the field only allows a max of 10 characters then it will activate the autoban.

There are other reasons, but i hope that helps you understand a bit more, even though you don't know the reason for your autoban, but these are the most common.
