Roeland's a **Filtered**. He goes to British Columbia, and goes to some deserted National Park instead of coming to where I live.

Have fun man, pity though you are so far off. :smt047

It's on the fun side of the US. :P

You don't know me, but some suggestions:
Make sure you go through Yellowstone on your way from Jackson to Missoula. It's a shame Montana finally has a speed limit...used to be no speed limit existed on the interstate between towns/cities.
There are also quite a few fun outdoorsy things to do around Vancouver and Seattle. August is one of the best times to go through that area.
Also, some of the casinos located off The Strip in Vegas are even better than the popular ones (something to keep in mind).

Yellowstone was one of the first things on our list that we wanted to visit!
If you can give some details about these fun outdoorsy things that would be much appreciated :) . And thx for the Vegas tip!

We already rented a car for the entire month. A mini-van for 7 persons, and we are with 4, so should be comfortable enough:). I'm not driving myself though.

Well in Vancouver they offer everything from bicycle tours of the city to helicopter rides over the area. All of the Pacific NW (Vancouver and Seattle both) have things like hiking, rafting, fishing, skiing (but that's in the winter), rock climbing, mountain biking, etc. Google will be able to find all the popular stuff around the area you will be staying, but if you're staying in a hotel in either location, they usually have someone at the front desk who knows all the information and you can call them ahead of time or talk to them/pick up a packet/brochure while you are there.

My family pretty much uses our own stuff when we go out to do things like this, so I wouldn't know who/where to go for specific activities in Seattle and Vancouver (I'm from Portland, so I'm bias against both cities :P). I'm a huge fan of rafting, canoeing, hiking, and rock climbing, but some people like the fast pace of mountain biking.
