Is it true that it is possible to be on perpetual PPT if you spent $$ ?

If so ... whats your thoughts on this ?


I think it stinks and it should be limited ....

As this indeed gives money spenders an advantage one can not achieve without spending $$.

There is an example of it hiding out in the land of week long PPT on the server right now.

Yes, 2 PPTs with MT's then you ascend. But you can't ascend every week...

well, i see how this could be annoying, but i was under the belief that money spenders were meant to have a slight advantage due to the spending of money?

and how much harm can be done by an extra ppt?

It seems you can, as we indeed are observing someone who is likely doing it .. and no .. there is no ascension involved.

One could do it to hide or protect its investement and keep a high rank ....

Fun ... not sure ... depands on what you like I guess.

Well 1 extra ppt wouldnt matter that much .... but euhm ... say you have a high income ... and have a high UP ....

In effect ... that effort could work out to provide you with the $$ needed to stay on PPT forever.

Lets see, you are only allowed 2 PPT's per a week via the market. Whether you bought it with $ or MT's you are still only allowed 2...


So out the top of my head you can only have 372 hours of PPT

Well there was no ascensions involved as the account in question is already an unknown.

ok, bear with me, I am thinking its done like this, ppt 48 hrs, spend the day buying 10$ worth of whatever every 1.5 hrs (utilising the negative ppt time), 12 hours (sell what you bought on cash market) ppt again that evening 48 hrs, 12 hours alliance ppt over night, spend the day buying ppts again, 12 hours...

thats (gets out fingers and toes) 5.5 days, if you started the first ppt just before reset monday this would get you into your next week, and you'd basically get 11 days of ppt, then you have 1 day of being online and vac mode for a few days, and do it again, this way you get to only be online 1 day in every 2 weeks!

its a sad way to play, but it would work

alliance ppt only adds a max of 12 hours per week...

although you could string them together around a market reset,


that presents a new problem:

---- only under certain conditions:

benefits which take your PPT over 48 hours get cut off...

I've tested to be sure...

have to be in an alliance for 5+ days to be eligible...

alliance ppt cost 6 bil bank upgrade use per hour used...

they can easily cut a small alliance bank or a slow growing alliance bank off at the knees...

and are person or persons in an alliance?



of course, it's theoretically possible that someone is online often enough

to take almost immediate advantage of qualifying server outages...


Though qualifying server outages happen very rarely now...

and still couldn't get them anywhere close to 6 days of ppt on the week

following a properly timed ascension...


if they were buying stuff off the black market from the holiday bonus,

the black market dished out 720 minutes, [12 hours], of ppt when i got my 20k attack turns,
(which was pointless in my case),

subsequent black market purchases during holiday bonus did not add anything noticeable to the ppt I took a week later... until the purchase i made while off ppt...

I think that gave 60 minutes... plus negative ppt time...

still, the person would have to be online and ingame every 90 minutes for extended periods of time...



even if we were talking rank 1 stats...
not likely to be worth it... it's not only a sad way to play, it's a sad way to live...

yes, the person Nostra is refering to is in a large well established alliance, so alliance ppt would be no issue here,

the person is not ascnding, if they were it would be easier

as a 2 week ascender I can guarentee that using alliance ppt and the free ascending ppt, its possible to be on ppt for a solid 16 days!! (i tried it once just to see, it was the most boring 2 weeks of my life, I eventually gave in and used an extra ppt for merlins)

)wk1:1:friday 12.00GT to sunday 12.00,
wk1:2: sunday 12.00 GT tuesday 12.00 (alliance ppt used just before turn change monday adds 12 hours to this ppt) takes you to tuesday night 23.59...

wk2 : 1 ppt tuesday night to thursday night , 23.59,
wk2:2 thursday night to saturday night, 23.59
ascend, free ppt saturday till monday, plus alliance 12 hour tuesday 11.59 GT..

wk3:1 tuesday 11.59 til thursday 11.59
wk3:2 thursday til saturday 11.59

and with the extra 30 mins a go you get as negative count time, thats a bit over 16 days LOL!!
