In a turbulent year in nemesis, Its nice to be able to add an element of fun and life into our forums and award those deserving of praise.
We're back to strength and I'd like to thank all those who have been members over the past year, not just those who have gotten awards.
I'd also like to thank the leaders of the Nempire over recent months and what they have gone through and put up with and trusting me with the awards after I accidentally broke the whole forums (hence the award I've recieved)
So here are the results.
First, we'll start with arguably the most important award, the acceptance into the Hall of Fame, the two members joining this elitist list are:
Andrew
Yojimbo
War of the year
core - DOJ
Diplo of the year
Yojimbo
leader of the year
Sammael
main player of the year
Golden Wing
ascended player of the year
SoL
best poster of the year
Tek
signature of the year
Andrew
newcomer of the year
Frozen Flame
most improved player of the year
Andrew
noob moment of the year
Q Man
best enemy of the year

Similarly, I believe that people in general are inherently flawed. Deep down, we are programmed to hurt one another; either physically or emotionally. People are naturally selfish and greedy; governed more by bestial urges than common sense or ethics. Society is a terrible thing, too. The more supposedly civilized we become, the more immorality and decadence become the main staple of our daily diet.
Before Lost concluded, my main flippant excuse for not killing myself was that I wanted to know how it ended. I will get back to you with a new one when I find it.

When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won.
There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall.
