I think everyone has a "thing" they invest in, whether its MS or cov levels, UP or planets...
So what's your "thing"?
Mine is UP, i wanna have the biggest RAW UP in-game.

Well, if one is not completely sure they are done ascending,
that rather limits one's options.
I also doubt you are gonna find people show up here and say,
Yea, I put 50% or more of my naq into my planets...
That would seem to be asking to lose them...
And an extra huge Unit Production / raw UP
makes one a good raiding target,
esp. for people they are at war against...

Hypothetically speaking, I might still ascend further...
that basically limits me to Mothership or planets.

MS. i started spending naq on it properly and its almost tripled in size.
probably one of the more expensive endeavours, with covert probably the top

I think covert levels are the way to go. I'm just about to buy 38 and I think starting to prep for 39 wouldn't be stupid...
I also think having a semi balanced account is a good way to start if you're not there yet.
