after I changed temprary name, someone smart created account and used my name.

Can admin check the ID if it was created by some player am in war? Even if he wont play it, is it alowed to create more accounts?

hehe I remember Universe doing that to Harch

but it depends on how the person uses the account now its under C2 name... there is the possibility of using it to defaud ppl etc

The imitation of other users by creating a user account that is intended to deceive the community into believing you are another member of the community is not permitted.

Consequence:
The offending account will be banned and the offending users other account/s will be given one warning point.

Yes, I know this is ingame and not the forums - but the spirit of the rules should surely be the same. This is someone deliberately impersonating another well-known user.

Hold on C2, wasnt named C2 at that time so he wasnt impersonating another user was he...

But if C2 was named C2 at the time then this couldn't have happened

It is not a common name to choose - it was chosen purely to impersonate a well-known and respected figure of the community.

I agree it is legit by the rules of the game - but by the spirit of it? Of course not. And especially not if the person who created that account is a well-known member of the community whose "brother" suddenly created an account....

Caesar isn't an uncommon name

18743 and 1974419 for example. For 1974419, Caesar was already taken so he added an underscore. Impersonating? No, adapting.

my own name was taken by someone, who is now very much inactive
however, C2 is active, and its a pretty big coincidence for a player to just 'happen' to rename to C2

In that case, yes. In this case, no. He is not adapting it, but has taken the name of a known player in the game. Now if he is innocently playing the game, I'm sure he won't mind changing it once he realises.

However, and this is the point I believe C2 is trying to make - if it is a well-known player who has created a side account under the lame excuse of "brother" just to annoy C2, then they should be punished....

All is fair in love and war...Admin did nothing about people changing names on ascended to prevent ascension, so expect nothing here

My curent name is "DDE~Hunter" I think. Than the red title says "Caesar2"
Am sure I annoyed many with the new name.
Am sure there is not a NEW player who ACCIDNTLY picked name C2

Creating multi accounts is against rules.
If account with C2 name is a multi, sharing IP with someone, than theres no question. Player should be banned for this.

IF he is a new player, and no IP sharing, and he will be active... I will simply pick another name. I wont cry cuse some game name but it will be verry similar to C2

This topic is not about how C2 is crying about his name, I want to report this account cuse its clearly a multi account!

I would advise against linking the forum rules to the game rules or vice versa.

For example multiing is not only allowed on forums but encouraged in certain sections as well. Surely you do not think that the "spirit" should be the same ingame

Hmm yu changed yu name like 4 or 5 times in like 30 min in *caesar2* and lithium and some more i noticed cos yur name kept changin in my logs.I like the DDE-Hunter name there WAS some one with that name or tag in another aliance to.... good times..
