Lets say a planet produces 1billion naq/day.
What amount of defenses would make it questionable to risk attacking?

well planets are always takeable, but if you dont annoy anyone a 30Bill per day planet will not be taken if it has say 100Bill in def, saying that I have 2 that have 0 def and no 1 takes them. I have a 58Bill per day and a 29Bill per day. So if you lose yours take mine for free...

It's not such a simple question to answer. Different players look for different planets.

Generally you can get away with 0 defense on an income planet up to around 50bil per day, mostly due to income planets not being worth the naq invested in them.
That example planet will probably not be taken unless someone is just removing your planets.

If you can afford to defend a planet then just buy a dual and stick to merlins, best way

Look at it this way. No planet is safe, it's only a bonus. Don't get attached to them, don't spend ur own resources building them. Just steal a good one from someone. there are plenty out there!

ya far tomany

the thing i dont understand is why are they indestructable?

why do the recorces go down when stolen but not size

(maby 1 size drop per x amount of thefts x being determined by the planets current size)

and why are there platforms......

planets were ment to be taken ...... alot :smt043

What would shrinking planets accomplish? Upgrading their size doesn't cost anything anyway.

it eventually gets quite expensive to upgrade planet sizes.

1T is not expensive, and decreasing its size actually benefits you if you want to defend it

increasing the planet's size after you have added all the defenses that you want decreases it's market value, cuz anyone who wants to keep it, now has to pay extra for defenses...

of course, if you ever need to rebuild those defenses... 8-[
