Command & Conquer Fans

I received an e-mail earlier yesterday, but only read it just now and I wanted to share the happiness with any fans out there.
We all know that Command & Conquer games have gone from amazing to good, to horrible. The latest game was absolute trash. Not even worth playing. I play through every game I can but that game.. I didn't even play through 5 levels. It was THAT BAD. It let most of us down.
Rejoice! There will be a new chance for Command and Conquer to revive from the ashes!
I give you..Victory Games!

It sounds really good, but i'm going to be skeptical and wait. They usually sugar coat it, so let me see the product first.

they did not say much except "new C&C game"... not even if they intended to go back to the older style or if they intend to maintain the current style...

Westwood Studios (1992–2002)
* 1995 – Command & Conquer
* 1996 – Command & Conquer – The Covert Operations
* 1996 – Command & Conquer: Red Alert
* 1997 – Command & Conquer: Red Alert – Counterstrike
* 1997 – Command & Conquer: Red Alert – The Aftermath
* 1997 – Command & Conquer: Sole Survivor
* 1998 – Command & Conquer: Red Alert – Retaliation
* 1999 – Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun
* 2000 – Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun – Firestorm
* 2002 – Command & Conquer: Renegade
* 2002 – Command & Conquer: Renegade 2 (Canceled)
* 2002 – Command & Conquer: Continuum (Canceled)
* 2002 – Command & Conquer: Tiberian Incursion (Canceled)
EA Pacific (a.k.a. Westwood Pacific) (2000–2003)
* 2000 – Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2
* 2001 – Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge
* 2003 – Command & Conquer: Generals
EA Los Angeles (2003—2010)
* 2003 – Command & Conquer: Generals – Zero Hour
* 2007 – Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
* 2008 – Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath
* 2008 – Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
* 2009 – Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 – Uprising
* 2009 – Tiberium (Canceled)
* 2010 – Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight
Generals had pretty much nothing to do with command & conquer...
It can be summed up in one sentence...
"Look at the hyper-technological Americans beat the communist Chinese and the terrorist Muslims."
the engine was decent and all, but the story was hopelessly poor and generally boring... Not even close to worth of the C&C name...

Agreed. Completely. My buddy and I used to have so much fun on Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge. I loved rocking a quick rush with Navy Seals/Engineers.

my only problem with C&C is that its hard to make it playable in LAN,especially Yury's Revenge...and when you actually make it work you will get tons of errors and the game will crash.
But yes, i admit, they are fun to play

story-wise, the tiberian games are the best, but fun-wise, red alert 2 is best...
we do recall something about wanting to acquire "Command & Conquer: Red Alert – Counterstrike" back in 2005, simply to answer silly gamer classmates "CS" when asked what we were playing... but we never did...
