surprised nobody has posted about this, really good film, only complaint i would make is the overly strong and incomprehensible accent Jeff Bridges has, stuggled to understand him at times

otherwise an amazing film

Jeff Bridges is A-E. :-D :smt060

Good movie, hope it helps somewhat with getting the "western" out of the gutter.

It depends on the version of this movie you prefer.

I prefer the old one. The acting felt more realistic in the other version than the newer version, although, that girl in the new version was way more fiesty than the old version.

Havent seen the new version yet, look like it has a good cast but up against some classic John Wayne I cant see it living up to the original.

Finally got round to watching this one

Jeff Bridges was a bit mumbly and stumbled through the movie, Matt Damon you barely notice and I hated the wrap up at the ending, that bit should have been in the editors bin. As try to review this I find all my comments are criticisms yet I enjoyed it, the only reason I can think of is Hailee Steinfeld as Mattie, she saved & made the movie

Agreed. It wasn't as good as the original, but that woman who played Mattie would have made the original 100x better.
