Battle: LA

I've just started watching this movie, and it's a camera quality but it is bad ass.
These aliens managed to set up an ambush by pushing a dog forward ahead of them, which in turn forced the Marines into a kill box. Jesus. I do not want to fight these aliens. They have horrible accuracy, though if it was real I would expect far greater aim. The Marines would have been annihilated in seconds.

These Aliens are far more advanced than us, but they are weaker than us. They have an understanding of how the humans work, their command structure, etc. Simply put - they knew their **Filtered** before attacking and knew how to go about it.
I'd have loved to see a Human vs Alien all out battle with both sides having complete understanding of each other though. No doubt, no doubt.

I recommend this movie.

Paul is hilarious. Battle: LA is an attempt to be serious. Kinda fails at that. Good fun though.. if I had kids, I'd take them to see Paul though. ;)

I'd take my kids to see Battle: LA before taking them to see Paul. What a pedophile.

Agreed. The Bear is nothing compared to Paul.
Maybe they are related?

Why ? Why did you do that ? Why did you do that to me ? Just why ?

I wasted 90 mins of my life on this crap, still cant believe I didnt turn it off before the end and do something useful or entertaining instead.

If you want to know what Independence Day would have looked like if it had been made by McDonalds staff with a budget the same as a BigMac, watching this badly acted, badly scripted trash is the way to find out.

If you like good movies watch something else.

Why? I am an action junky. Anything with massive battles, etc is worth a watch to some people.

I can understand how it would be a bad movie, but I recommended it for the action - not the actual movie itself. :P
